How To Play Craps in Las Vegas

So you want to learn the game that you can hear clear across the casino? Craps is the place to go to make your money stretch and to have a good time. Sure, you can lose a lot of money in a very short time, but if you play it correctly you can sit around a table for quite sometime and utilize the free drink service.

Here's How:


  1. Look for a table that is really jumping. You'll hear it and when you approach there will be plenty of people crammed around the table. Get in anyway you can.
  2. Drop your money on the table and get your chips. If you a have any questions do not hesitate to ask the dealers. They always are willing to help.
  3. Keep your hands off the playing surface as the dice are being thrown. The last thing you want to do is interfere with someones roll.
  4. The good bets are: the pass line, the don't pass, come, don't come and the placing of 6 or 8.
  5. Always play the odds on your pass line and come bets.
  6. Money on the table is in play so move it when you win or you could lose it.
  7. Keep your eye on your money as this game can invite you to put a lot out on the table. When the seven comes up it's all gone.
  8. Remember, you want a 7 or 11 on the come out roll. If 7 or 11 appear you win, if 2, 3, or 12 are rolled you lose. Any other number develops a point. When a point is established, let's say 6, the shooter must roll another 6 before a 7. If the shooter rolls a 6 you win, if the shooter rolls a 7 you lose. A simple game.
